Where did the great Super Bowl commercials go?
I don’t follow football religiously, I can’t tell you who won the AFC last year or anyone’s record. Fortunately, I do enjoy watching the game because what is normally my highlight of the Super Bowl was a complete disappointment this year.
Where did the great commercials go?
Normally we all talk about which commercial we like best, what was the funniest, most memorable, etc. There is usually some great creative, normally I enjoy watching the agencies have free reign. There was just very little to talk about.
- Yes, the new Audio is a very sexy car…too bad I’ll never afford one.
- The unresistible unibrow girl because of the peanuts…okay, that was pretty funny.
- Macy Day floats…well, I’m a fan of underdog so I can give that one a weak thumbs up.
- I still think it’s creepy when someone makes a baby talk like an adult.
- Running down Richard Simmons…yes, I laughed at that.
- Career Builder: Hire a new agency because you’re showing was worse than the Patrioits’ defensive line.
- At least the Pepsi and Sobe brought back some memories with their choice of music.
- I know Dell is trying but your commercials are boring and so are you computers, so unoriginal.
- GoDaddy…oooh big boobs, so what? Grow up kids.
- It does look like there are some promising movies coming out…maybe they’ll be worth watching, most of these commercials sure weren’t.
Did I miss something, did you see a commercial that I didn’t that would somehow regain my admiration for Super Bowl commercials?
