Fox News grabbed this story...what was disturbing about their take on this was that they seemed to say this was a good thing as it was showing that people are becoming more tolerant.

There's a time for tolerance, and there's a time to take a stand for truth. If the bible is just full of suggestions, then what do we believe in?

We create this make-your-own-church-service atmosphere...quick in, quick out, no feelings hurt, no feathers ruffled and then we wonder why these types of attitudes exist.

Christ is our example, right? He had absolute truth...and he pissed off plenty of people in the doing.

Yep. I was reading through this earlier today. It's particularly disturbing for me because I work in music/media. 2 of the bigger elements that our church uses in our marketing efforts.

Although we are growing, it saddens me to see the lack of depth in discipleship and theological foundations across the board in the U.S. People don't really know what they believe because no one ever confronts them with absolute truth.

God help us.
