Of course, in many cases we can just move the meetings across the street to the Starbucks that are not closing. I love working in coffee shops, not only does it beat rent (and saves you money) but it allows all sorts of input that can later be translated to creativity.</p>
<p>But now Starbucks has announced that they will be closing 600 of their stores. Can we learn anything from this? Hmmm&#8230;I think we can.</p>
<ul>
<li>The hottest craze today could be the biggest loser tomorrow. Trying to keep up with these crazes, instead of being innovative and original, will usually put you behind the fad.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>Just because people are filling the building today, doesn&#8217;t mean you should slow down your efforts. Impact is not a one time event, you should be building up to it each service.</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li> There is such a thing as too much of a good thing. Using moderation in events and programming generates interest, which creates crowds.</li>
</ul>
<p>What other lessons can we take away from Starbucks&#8230;one of our homes away from homes.</p>
