How dare we not tell them.

“How much do you have to hate someone to believe that everlasting life is possible and not tell someone about that.” One of the highlights from this clip from Penn, a well known atheist, who talks about someone who gives him a bible. As much as I’m a much bigger advocate of creating relationships than simply handing out a bible (and I loathe tracts) and running this is a good lesson in how to do it right but more importantly it’s such a great view from an angle that you and I don’t get to experience often.

One of the most thought provoking web videos I have ever watched. While streaming inspiring daily devotions are nice, I wish more ministry leaders felt the urge to speak as candid and transparent on their webcasts as Penn does.

Your last line Michael made me laugh. While Penn certainly is delivering a “great view from an angle that you and I don’t get to experience often”, his lap camera offers a view from an angle I hope I never have to experience again.

This video by Penn was very interesting. This Christian man made an impression upon him, and Penn seemed moved by the man’s spirit–even if he doesn’t recognize it as the Holy Spirit. :) Even unbelievers want us to speak our truth with conviction and kindness. I’m going to send this to my pastor for him to comment.

Very interesting video. The guy who gave him the bible planted some seed. Let’s pray that it takes root and grows!
