I think the problem is lack of education on the church leaders part. Their hearts are to reach people, so in that matter, they will try whatever it take to reach people. I do think they've gotten by with free mediocrity for so long, they expect it free still. And it is very hard to expect anyone to value something that has no cost. It's much like my last post I'm afraid, design is just a check box, something on a to do list and it usually just looks like: __ make powerpoint slides Which would be fine...except that it isn't effective and even more so today in our visual world. I'd even go as far to say they don't even value people. So. because they do not value these things, it makes it easy to justify "borrowing" from them. Its not theft if there is no value... But what you created was SO much stronger and connects to the ideas that are being shared. That is setting the pace. I am interested too to hear from those that use the formula of copying the latest craze. I'm sure there are some that do it because they think it's the best way to reach people. Thanks Russ.
