Why do you need a Google Wave invite?

google_wave_logoJust received my Google wave invite along with a few others to share.

Have you been waiting for an invite, looking to starting using Google’s latest toy?

Reply below with why you want one and how you plan to use it in your church or ministry. I’ll reach into the hat and pull a few names out tomorrow and send you an invite.

Hey Michael. I’m one of the contributing authors at the church tech web site http://www.churchtechmatters.com. We’d like to use Wave to collaborate on content and posts… but we don’t all have invites. Love it if you could help me out!

    thnx.

All the Google Wave invites have been sent out, as I (if I) get more I will continue to pull from this list. I sent you an email if we pulled your name.

As you get those invites do come back and share how you are using it. So often we all rush to a new toy, but then fumble with how to use it.

Why wave? Well, I think it’s the coolest thing since email and want in!

Really can’t wait to use this with my teams for collaboration and fun google wave stuff…

How does one get an invite?

Sorry Greg all my nominations (which apparently is different than an invite) are gone for now. As I get more I’ll send them out.

So far Wave seems okay, but seems to needed masses to work. I mean it’s okay one on one but definitely more for group collaboration….perfect for church staffs.

EVERYONE else in my office has Google wave but never received invites to give to me. Now they are all collaborating on projects but I can’t get on to see what we are all working on. Please give me an invite!

As an art director on a media team with 6 other staff we are always in conversation regarding everything from a key art design concept to which conference to go to.

This would be invaluable in a small to medium group of people where it’s handy to track the conversation.

We have already implemented Google Calenders and looking to integrate into Google’s mail platform in the next few months. This would be huge leap.

This is why I would love wave.

it’s so sad…I’ve had one for some time now, don’t use it at all…Mainly because it’s not open to everyone yet.
Funny, I’ve been using a different online collaboration program for a while called Kono Live… it’s in more of an app form than a web app. I think it’s more useful than wave, at least for now.
