Q Conference Portland : Free Ticket

q conf

Ok, so I attended Q in Chicago last year and loved it. So much so that I bought an advance ticket for this year in Portland. But, I just spent two weeks with back to back travel and May is booked except for one week.

So something had to give, and since Q was the only conference I was simply attending and not speaking at, it got the ax.

Sad for me. Good news for you.

It means I have a ticket for someone.

Here’s the deal. I don’t just want to give this one away. Not just because it’s a $750 ticket, but because this conference talks so much about doing and being and justice. So, what I’d like you to do is to donate to one of the causes below, and then leave a comment why you love that cause and I’ll pick one random name.

Street Grace : Help End Childhood Sexual Exploitation

Invisible People : Give homeless people a voice

Gifts of Water : $10 = 1 person gets safe water and they’re preaching the gospel.

Disclaimer : I’m pretty sure I can’t force you to donate to one of these causes in order to enter to win a free ticket to a conference about how to live out your faith, so if you don’t want to you can still enter…but come on?

——-
And the winner is Matt Payne! Thanks for all that gave to these great causes and stay tuned as I’ll be giving two tickets to Cultivate Conference.

I live in Portland and have wanted to attend but couldn’t because of the big $$$. I’ve met Mark and would love to donate to Invisible People. Portland is home of one of the largest teen homeless populations. I am a former church planter who loves my community! I am on a local Chamber of Commerce board as well as the Domestic Violence Resource Center board. I would LOVE to go to Q!

LOVE Street Grace and what they stand for! It is so awesome when people stand for the kids who can’t speak for themselves and to me this in one of the biggest injustices in the world!

  • Johns

  • Johns

Trying this again I messed up on my email… haha

I live 3 hours away and have never heard of Q but WOW! This is a great idea! I am very active in my community and Pastor a large church but we don’t get things like this close to us very often.

I love programs like Street Grace that are making a HUGE difference in the lives of people who can’t always speak for themselves. The ministry to help such an injustice is HUGE!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

  • Gailj

Love the “Street Grace” ministry. I help lead women in supporting a similar cause…rescuing and restoring women and girls forced into the sex trade industry in India. Hope I win!
