Dang it! Me and my new Communications homies at Highland Park Presbyterian will be going to "Innovate" this year instead of MinistryCOM. They're at the same time ... who's bright idea was that?

Yeah, new job. New blog. And loving every minute of it. But Innovate was NOT my idea. I really wanted to go to MinistryCOM. Anyway, here's to hoping it rocks.

Best,
Roland

@Becky I like those ideas a lot...good stuff. You'll be missed.

@Mark I'm glad you brought that up. You'll notice that you can now see related links for each post at Holy Cow : a blog, for example under this one you will see HOW: Design Evangelist Notes. Enjoy!

Awesome,
If you need help with your PowerPoint let me know. I am sure I can make you look good like I did earlier this year. (sheepish grin)

Hey, that reminds me. You still have not posted the slides from your last speaking gig. Hmmmm, I bet you borrowed some of my jokes Mr “Don’t Steal Be Inspired Dooooode”

Love like a bro and I wish I could go. Wow, give me a mic and a beat on that one!

You’ll be awesome like usual!

Hugs,
-M

The table I was at last year had about 7 people at it. I was the only one there who was part of the CMS Flickr group. It also turned out that the people at my table hadn't done much or any peer critiquing. There was a lot of hesitation and a few time hogs and a lot of presentation of old work. It didn't function anything like the online lab. My suggestion would be to try and put at least two people familiar with the Lab concept at every table. Also, contact those who have signed up before they arrive and encourage them to bring in-process pieces so it's not a bunch of portfolio review. I'm also torn about whether co-workers or employee/boss should sit at the same table...

Best of luck. Wish I were going to be there to participate this year. I'll be too busy with baby Zach!
